We defined heavy alcohol use as > 14 drinks/week for men and > 7 drinks/week for females, modest alcohol usage as any smaller but non-zero quantity, and any alcohol usage as either reasonable or hefty usage. Around 39% of individuals reported any liquor usage and 15% hefty use.
